JST ASPIRE 3D Embodied AI International Collaboration Planning Workshop

Overview

The JST ASPIRE 3D Embodied AI International Collaboration Planning Workshop 2026 aims to bring together principal investigators and researchers from closely related research groups to discuss future collaborative research opportunities in embodied AI, robotics, and aerial robotic systems.

This workshop is organized in the context of the JST ASPIRE project, which supports international joint research, researcher mobility, and the development of sustainable research networks. Unlike a conventional symposium with full-length technical talks, this workshop is designed as a focused strategic planning meeting.

The main objective is to identify complementary research strengths, discuss promising collaboration directions, and define concrete next steps for joint activities over the next 6-24 months. The workshop will focus on research topics related to mobility, physical interaction, robotic intelligence, experimental platforms, and future demonstrators.

Expected outcomes include priority research themes, initial exchange-visit plans, possible joint outputs, and follow-up events or meetings.
